temporary job stint at investment company, CAC at raffles city tower.
the view was SUPER GOOD. i could see the singapore flyer, fort canning park, chinatown, the whole of raffles place, esplande bridge, and even the IR. the only downside to it was that even though my job was only 10 days long, i had to travel down to india embassy for some attestation of documents. GOSH. i don't even know how to describe the place! to see and SMELL a room packed with indians is just indescribable. the smell is so unique, i think u have to be there to actually experience what i went through. and and! the clerks there all wore saris. how cute. hahas
and during my short stint at CAC, i met up with the girls to catch sex and the city! this was us before the movie, dins at HK Cafe.

I JUST REMEMBERED. on that same fateful day, i was working at CAC, so the boss got me to go downstairs to collect mail from the letterbox. So while going down, this man about 40ish enters the lift, carrying a cold storage plastic bag enters the lift and starts talking to me. the conversation goes like this..
man: oh u working here huh
me: yes, temp.
man: oh so u studying?
me: yes
man: where?
me: oh uni.
man: oh ok.
the lift opened cos it was the ground floor alr. so i just smiled and walked out. the letterbox was just next to the lift, so i opened the door into the mail room, collected my mail. and when i came out of the room, guess who was there! cold storage man. so being friendly, i just smiled at him again and waited for the lift to come. AND, he decides to follow me back up the lift.gosh. he didn't even know what level to press. he just smiled and followed me UP. then he decides to take out his dinosaur phone and the conversation goes like this
man: you wanna exchange numbers?
me: err. what for?
man: to make friends
me: err. i have enough friends already.
the lift reaches my floor and i quickly run out.
seriously, that was the freakiest experience i ever encountered! an old man preying over some one young enough to be his daughter! the atrocity! he knows i'm a tertiary student and yet, he wanted to be friends with me. yucks. peng thinks it was the dress i was wearing. but EEEW! NO MORE SUCH NONSENSE PLS.
JUNE - i think about 75% of my time was spent on sports camp precamp and meetings. the rest of it was spent on small gatherings with the girls and the boyfriend.
Sports Camp 08 - Pre Camp
Pre Camp was only 3 days but it was super intense la. 1st day was pool games in the morning, station games in the afternoon, mass dance and fright night in the evening then with prolly about 3 hours of sleep, we went for beach games at sentosa from 9 in the morning till 7 at night and night cycling at midnight from school to ECP. we broke camp after night cycling at 8am on day 3. it was super intense laa. PLUS, i was still a cycling noob so the rest of my house people had to suffer w me whilst i brake, stop, brake cycle slowly. ahhas but i got better after every hour so it was all goood.
