hello hello thank you for being so patient. and as promised, ta da! part two of the boys i know..
11. are liars!
in my previous post, i mentioned that the boys i know know how to bake. BUT, it turns out that... *drumroll
them baking = their neighbour's tiramisu + tricking gladys, kel and stef that they actually baked it at 1am.
liars, them all! and to think i praised them as nice boys! tsk tsk. lousy fellas ahahs
12. really really suck at planning surprise birthday parties
bernard called us two weeks back telling us to make ourselves free on the 29th of March so he could throw gladys her surprise 21st party at bugis, indulgz cafe.
the plan was for us to all be there around 1830 whilst he and gladys slowly make their way there around 1845.
BUT, what bernard hadn't planned was that gladys wanted to take the shortcut to the cafe. so they ended up reaching indulgz at 1815 instead. smaart. and thats not even the best part! andrew was early, so kel told him to wait for us inside the cafe. and gladys saw him! so he came up with some lousy excuse that he was waiting for his girlfriend. and thankfully, gladys bought the excuse.
BUT BUT! what really gave the surprise away was when the waitress brought them to their table.. which was an empty table of 10 with balloons on both sides of each chair. because, when bernard forgot to inform the waitress of a contingency plan of the guests were not on time.
so oh well oh well, surprise spoilt (tsk tsk, boys and their planning)!
nevertheless, a very happy limjingling (:
have a happy happy 21th birthday! (either the cake people or bernard didn't know the difference between 21st and 21th. haha!)
anyway, fyi, gladys' birthday is on april 13. bernard celebrated way earlier cos aroon had to go back to his motherland (india) for some army course
13. get conned by nice descriptions on restaurant menus
starting from top left (in clockwise direction):
1. aroon's pork lined with apple sauce
2. darren's chicken with garlic roast
3. my hawaiian butterfish steak - not suitable for pregnant women or those with weak digestive system (hint:gladys)
4. kel's portebello burger
see! if you compare aroon and darren's main course with mine and kel's.. which one will u eat? mine and kel's right?!
and because aroon's serving was like so pathetic, darren just had to be his usual self and make fun of aroon.
darren: aroon! wah you so fast going to eat finish alr ah? (before aroon even ate ahahas)
14. have itchy hands
this proves my point no. 1 - the boys i know never grow up. kok just had to cute-ify his soup. he stole some of my mushroom soup to make the x-) face and some pepper to give his face a moustache. sighh. so much for once boys enter army, they become men saying.
15. like to make their female friends look retarded
that was kel trying to tell me to WAIT! i'm not ready to pose but hahs too late! *snap snap - unglam peekture no. 1
then the next peekture, kel didn't wanna pose.. hahas cos she angry that i took her unglam peekture hahas but she didn't realise that kok had 2 spoons behind her head to make her look like shrek so * snap snap - unglam peekture no. 2
hhahas i think i've run out of things to say but ANYWAY, the moral of the story is : don't have guy friends - they lie to u, make u look unglam in pics and spoil birthday surprises.
hahas NEHH, i'm just kidding! its super good to have guy friends cos u can always count on them when you need a breakfast buddy, a bitching partner, a chauffeur (oops!) hahas, a supper buddy, a clubbing bodyguard, and blah blah blah (:
ogay this post took me almost an hour to complete and i need to go pee. so just to end off, here's gladys and her 21th bday wish!
