day 1 was crap cos we had nothing to do. but at least the bosses and colleagues were super nice!
plus, my fellow coursemate/intern, weijie and i have our own room with our own comps with internet while the rest of the colleagues work in the general area. hahas!
day 2 - we decided to be more proactive this time. so we tagged along for a consultants meeting at copthorne orchid in the morning (which i dozed off occasionally), then came back to lunch with kel for the 2nd time in a row! (:
after lunch, we came back and sat in with another colleague for a design meeting (which i dozed off again). it was interesting cos we saw a concept design architect from NY and a QS get scolded by one of the CDL guys. real life meeting quarrels. niceeee ahahs
and then at 430, weijie and i went with the rest of our colleagues to kitchen culture at leng kee road to take a look at their kitchen cabinet showroom. we got to see super interesting and high end kitchens, a $20,000 porsche bbq pit and a $300,000 porsche kitchen. after that, we got to mingle and network with everyone else in one of the kitchen showrooms with kuehs and drinks! (will post the picture up). work ended there for us and we all left with a kitchen culture goodie bag
day 3 - weijie and i spent the entire morning sitting in with our colleagues for switches interview. that means, we spent 2hrs plus watching 5 different switch suppliers talk about their switches. apparently these switches are "high end, branded" switches. and these switches come with remote controls for lazy pple to change the scene settings in the rooms. if u ask me, they all look about the same la. total waste of time really.
yongtaufoo lunch at telokayer street and dessert at china square before we came back to office and nua for about 45mins before we walked over to samsung hub for a samsung product talk. the talk was boring, with 3D televisions, video walls, wallmounted/console/commercial aircons (i dozed off again!) ANYWAY, this is why being a CDL intern rocks so much - after the talk ended, all of us got a samsung virus doctor air purifier as a parting gift! OMG LA. (:
tmr - one meeting in the morning and then showflat visiting! woot!
i think i'm damn lucky (:
my other 2 friends at CDL have no computer/internet. one is reading contract documents at the reception area while the other follows her supervisor around to different sites.
i don't have to go to site, i get to work at raffles, i get to network with diff pple from diff places and i get to learn alot (:

on a downside though, i've been kicked out of my shuttle bus for the past 3 mornings. each morning i go down earlier to wait for the shuttle bus and each morning i get kicked off the bus! bloody hell. mon i was late by 1 min cos work started at 9. yest i reached office at 9 but i was late cos work started at 845. today! i reached work at 915 when work is suppose to start at 845! =(
no more shuttle bus for me!
pray tmr will be fun! *cross fingers
